ContempraDance School offers classes to children, teens
and adults from beginner to advanced levels.

Classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, hip hop, contemporary/lyrical, tap, pre-dance, musical theater, Lil princess creative dance! ContempraDance Center is the areas most comprehensive state of the art dance facility with spacious studios including sprung and marley floors, high open ceilings with track lighting, spacious dressing and waiting areas and convenient parking for parents and student

ContempraDance, owned by director Gail Vartanian, offers more then 55 classes per week to adults, teens and children in ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, tap, funk, break dancing, pre-dance, latin fusion, Lil princess creative dance as well as yoga. ContempraDance is voted the Best of Philly, by Philadelphia magazine, "Best Dance Studio in the Main Line" by Main Line Life and Main Line Times and Nickelodeon's Parents Pick Choice Award. The studio offers various levels of classes for dancers from beginners to professionals and is dedicated to providing instruction in a warm and caring environment

We welcome Cade Bolz to ContempraDance Faculty this season.
Cade currently dances with First State Ballet Theatre Company. Bolz has performed in many ballets, including Ben Stevenson’s Dracula, George Balanchine’s Serenade, and Zachary Kapeluck’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He enjoys teaching ballet and hopes to inspire a new generation of dancers with technique, artistry, and a passion for the arts.
We are very excited to have Cade join us this year!
We are now accepting registrations for our Fall program beginning Friday September 11th.

Congratulations to all of my wonderful dancers for a fabulous 2026 Just Wanna Dance annual recital. We had a blast. Everyone danced their hearts out. I was so impressed with the students and my faculty. Such creativity from everyone involved. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Hope to see you this summer and also back in the fall.

Our amazing ContempraYouth Dancers at their final competition. They won so many top awards and first place in various categories as well as judges awards. The dancers put so much time and energy and it paid off. We are so proud of all of them. Time to rest now and get ready for our end of year recital!!!!!! Special thanks to all of our choreographer’s. You’re the best!

Ms. Sophia, Ms. Rachel, Ms. Ada as well as other top notch professional dancers. We have Mr. Sam who has toured with the infamous Lady Gaga. And our incredible ContempraYouth Dancers. We had a fantastic time at the Upper Merion festival Saturday October 4th. The dancers put on an amazing show with jazz, lyrical, ballet and musical theater dances. We are so proud of them. It's not easy dancing on grass..lol... but they did it. Thank you everyone for attending!!
