The book is closed on another Indie Art & Craft Jam!
We are so grateful to our 40 makers and artists, Covered In Frosting, Hogz Backyard BBQ and Fudgey Grandmas Coffee (our food trucks), and The Crampton Brothers band - you should have seen the pockets of friends who brought their chairs and hung out in the park to listen.
I’m personally thankful to Charlotte Lawrie Cabanaw of Creative Sol Makery, my partner in producing this event. I’m the worrier, and Charlotte is always light and breezy. We are complements in that way. So grateful for our friendship and partnership.
Finally, gold stars all around for the City of Wayne-Downtown Development Authority for your support in so many ways. Goudy Park was the perfect venue.
Oh, and Joanie Vought McCully volunteered to check in the makers and she did a fabulous job. 👏 for Joanie!
Yes, it was hot. But sometimes it was breezy. And I’ll take hot before wet - and it didn’t start raining until almost all of us were done packing up.
Oh, and all our friends-old-and-new who came out and supported this first-time-in-Wayne event by shopping, eating and dancing. You are the VIPs!
