These events include current students, alumni and guest talent. Eastern University prides itself on making art that matters. Eastern University offers majors in Music and Dance, as well as Theatre. An individualized major of Musical Theatre is also available. Music offers concentrations in Music Education, Performance, Electronic Music/Composition, Contemporary Music, Worship Arts & General Music.

The Music Department also offers private lessons and ensemble participation, both to Music Majors and non-majors. The Music Department seeks to explore, perform, and teach music in a Christian context and to assist students in developing music appreciation and skills for local and global music ministry. The Dance Department includes Dance Education/Pedagogy, Technique Training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, African, and Tap. The program approaches the study of dance in a comprehensive manner, balancing the academic curriculum with performance production. The Theatre Department offers small, integrative classes and sustained personal attention. We teach well-rounded, multi-skilled theatre-makers, not just performers. We feature an ensemble-based collaborative training program, Actors Lab, which develops individual and ensemble growth and prepares students for professional and graduate theatre work.
