In two hours, De-Construction goes live on Verse.
EdgeSt photographs real European streets, then places oversized excavators, wrecking balls, and drilling rigs inside them, generated and composited until the seam disappears.

876 source photographs, 281 selected generations, over twenty months. The work never tells you what was documented and what was constructed.

That refusal is the point. The machines read as command — over the physical world, over the frame. Set against cities layered with memory, that command turns uncertain. Her own note on the project: ‘It is not clear whether they are destroying to prepare or to erase.’

There are deep cultural anthropological themes in work. Highly metaphorical in the alienation and isolation of crowded cities as a presage to the great disruption brought about by the passage to an all encompassing digital world.

Super excited to share that the very first drop since closing the gallery and pivoting to curatorial studio, will be with one of my favorite artists and dear friend, Naty. Naty aka Natascia Mercurio, is a Milan-based, Italian fine art photographer.

With her trademark teal/orange finish, Naty documents the human condition like no one else. Inspired by greats such as Hopper and Maier, Naty’s work is a painstaking look at the isolation of crowded places.

After a sold out Chapter 1, On the Outside Looking In (Chapter 2) drops Friday, May 29th at 3pm EST on
