The Chinese Art Faculty Association held the online conference “What’s Next” on Friday, December 17th from 3pm to 5pm EST. The event was organized by the executive committee members Professor Peili Wang, Lawrence Tzuchi Yun, and Wei D**g.

At present, the whole world is troubled by the COVID epidemic. We must consider and adjust our lives, work, and studies with the epidemic as the starting point. Last year, the CAAFA Association has successfully held two online seminars on how to teach normally during the epidemic. The epidemic will eventually pass, so we must consider the future; what kind of changes the epidemic will bring to us and what we must do to adapt to life and work after the epidemic. The epidemic is both a challenge and an opportunity. As art educators, we will hold an online seminar on the development of art education after the epidemic. The theme is "What's Next? This seminar will provide each CAAFA member with a formal to exchange and share opportunities for academic development and conduct cutting-edge discussions on art education after the epidemic.

There were 8 professors sharing their lectures in presentations, including Professor XiaoLing Li, Naijun Zhang, Yan Sun, Xiaoxia Song, Li Zhang, Ting Zhou, Xia Gao, and Snow Yunxue Fu. Congratulations to Professor Li Zhang for winning the best presentation award from the vote of the CAAFA members at the end of the event. Professor Ziyuan Cong summarized the conference at the end and shared his congratulations to the continuing executive committee members.

全美华人美术教授协会（CAAFA）2021年秋季在线研讨会What’s Next? 于2021年12月17日（星期五）美国东部时间下午3：00-5：00举行。此次活动由全美华人美术教授协会（CAAFA）执委会主办，会议具体负责人包括王培力，恽子奇，和董伟教授。

目前全世界被COVID疫情所困扰，我们不得不以疫情为出发点去考虑和调整自己的生活、工作及学习。去年CAAFA协会已经成功的举办了两次针对如何在疫情期间能够正常教学的在线研讨会。疫情终究会过去所以我们要考虑未来；疫情会给我们带来什么样的改变以及我们要怎样做才能适应疫情以后的生活和工作。疫情是挑战也是契机，作为美术教育工作者我们将举办一场针对美术教育在疫情以后的发展为主题的线上研讨会，主题为What’s Next? 本次研讨会将为每个CAAFA成员提供正式的学术发展机会来交流和分享，就疫情以后的美术教育进行前沿性的讨论。

感谢这次在研讨会里分享的8为老师，分别是李晓玲，张乃军，孙焱，宋晓霞，张利，周婷，高霞，和傅韵雪教授。恭喜张利教授的分享最后被此次参加在线研讨会的会员们投票评选为线上最佳论文奖。最后丛志远教授为大会的闭幕致辞并且分享了对续任的执委会的工作展望。
