Trash Polka is officially underway! 🔥🖤❤️

Yesterday Shawn Posey started this Trash Polka sleeve, and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s coming together. The bold contrast, abstract elements, and powerful composition are already making this piece stand out and it’s only going to get better as we continue.

To say we have the best clients is an understatement! 🔥 🐉 Dragon coming next… stay tuned. Shawn Posey has spent 32 HOURS. 4 SESSIONS on this ONE MASSIVE BACK PIECE.
Watching this piece come together has been incredible. From the detail in the Hannya mask to the samurai, temple, landscape, and florals…each session has added another layer to the story.
We’re not finished yet! 👀 We intentionally left room along the bottom and side to eventually add a dragon and continue building this piece out.

A tattoo of this size takes some serious commitment, patience, and trust from the client, and we couldn’t be more thankful for all three. We are ECSTATIC with how it has turned out so far and most importantly, we have a happy client! 🖤

🎉 We found our canvas! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who sent in photos and showed interest in this opportunity. We had a lot of great candidates, which made the decision incredibly difficult.

We truly appreciate each and every one of you for taking the time to apply. Keep an eye on our page we’ll definitely be doing more model/canvas calls in the future! Can’t wait to share our experience at Villain Arts with you guys!!

Three years ago we met on TikTok… and somehow neither one of us ran. 😂
Since then we’ve:
• Lived 8 hours apart.
• Navigated kids and all the emotions that come with blending 7 kids!!
• He packed up his life and moved here with me.
• Got engaged.
• Opened a tattoo shop.
• Endured the heartbreak of losing a baby.
• Got pregnant again.
• Survived a pregnancy with me (which honestly deserves its own award 🏆🤣).
• Welcomed our little boy.
• And somehow kept a tiny human alive for 6 whole months.
•planned a wedding that’s taking place 8 hours away….

We’ve definitely been through more than most people cram into a lifetime. It’s been stressful, chaotic, emotional, exhausting… and occasionally I questioned both his sanity and mine. 😂

I honestly don’t know how I’ve survived 3 years with this man… it’s been hard.

…But I guess he’s been worth it. ❤️
Here’s to whatever chaos we accidentally sign ourselves up for next. 🤣❤️

LAST CANVAS CALL!! We’ve received an incredible response and have narrowed it down to several amazing candidates. This is your final opportunity to apply before we make our selection! We will be choosing our canvas within the next few days.
🔥Please read the requirements carefully before applying.🔥 You will need to travel to Nashville, TN, stay Aug 14-Aug 17, able to sit for the duration of the tattoo, willing to present the finished tattoo on stage. You will be responsible for travel cost, lodging, admission fee into Villain Arts, etc. Lunch will be provided.
