Once upon a time, a āretiredā ER nurse turned stay-at-home mom had an idea. What started as a little idea has taken me places I never expected.
Iām incredibly honored to share that Iāve been selected as a recipient of the American Booksellers Association Winter Institute Scholarship. My name is there among booksellers from all over the country, alongside independent bookstores Iāve admired from afar. Still pinching myself!
A tiny 180-square-foot bookstore in Waxahachie, Texas, getting the chance to sit in a room with booksellers from across the country and learn from them.
I hope this inspires someone: Just because youāre on the first chapter of your story doesnāt mean you shouldnāt take big shots.
