Wow, what a week! Last Tuesday I had an allergy attack that just would not let up! It has taken me over a week and a visit to the Dr. and I am almost back to normal. I still have snot like rubber cement, phlegm in my chest and a rumbling cough. BUT I do feel ever so much better, and now can work out and take care of business. [ 54 more words. ]

Inspired by DLP 2016 featured artist Anna Friesen I have become obsessed with more circles. these are watercolor circles with areas of lightness within the circle. then you color in the background with black. Above is a small journal (5x8" - you cannot see it, but the paper is a 1922 Tax Return!) and a folded page in a large journal (below). Here they are colored in. This is my DLP week page with watercolor pencils on both pages. I will definitely continue with this process.

\ I am such a visual learner, and worker! I had a huge problem with the bridge scores I collect on Tuesday night. I did not plug in my laptop, and it shutdown in the middle of the game and did not get the results I needed! Argh!!! Anyway, I did find a log file (shown on the right above) and had to parse it out into a format that I could visualize. My results are on the left, very messy but colorful!

Yesterday I was participating in a full moon/solstice ritual and had something very odd happen. During the ritual, we were asked to pull a tarot card with the intent to clarify annd get a deeper meaning about the cycle that is just ending. And then write a story about it... Not a problem. I found my tarot deck and was putting my intentions into the deck as I had not used it much in recent months...). [ 367 more words. ]

Father's Day used to be a hard holiday for me. My Daddy has been gone since 1993, and so the holiday that we used to joyously celebrate was something that caused me pain. After a few years, the pain diminished, but never went away. I still miss him to this day. This year one of the ways I found around the sadness was to celebrate all the fathers that he impacted... These headstones were in a psychatric hospitals cemetery, very sad as they were only numbered, no names, dates, etc but they have aged beautifully
