I painted this commission of the home of beloved grandparents as a Christmas gift. I had to use multiple old photographs to recreate the house, even leaving out a large tree in the front that blocked the house. The small bridge in front over the creek was an important memory to all of the cousins who grew up playing on it.

Sat on the phone for awhile with a friend this evening and drew this veggie flower stand out then went back over with waterproof black fine liner pen. Paint will come tomorrow. That’s when all the details will really shine!
