The 1:10 scale portion of our program last night saw strong fields in every class. We were highlighted by 18 Losi Sprints and 13 Losi Late Models. A full field of Traxxas Mods joined us as well.

Our stout field of Losi Sprint drivers mixed yet up to settle up a strong A main field. The best of the best on this night landed the top 3 positions. Brandon Bender took home bragging rights with the win. Stan Willis would come home second. Tom Meeker crossed the stripe in the third position.

In the Losi Late Model division, Meeker would find his way to the front for the win. Our Losi Sprint Winner, Brandon Bender, would cruise to a second place finish. Our third place finisher is an OG in Barn country. DC Smith would land a podium finish in his first run at The Barn in 10 years! Glad to see DC in the pits.

Our Traxxas Mod division was won by Eric Thibideau. Johnny Whisman would be our Traxxas runner up, with Jayden Moore landing on the podium in third.

Our Novice class was won by DC’s daughter. Taylor Smith would get the win. She was followed closely in second by first time racer Hevan. Our third place finisher was Presley Neff.

Thanks to our 1:10 racers for putting on a great show last night. We’re only a little over a month away from our Losi 401k Nationals Take 2. We’re looking forward to the showdown that’s gonna take place with our Losi classes in October!

Full program winners and podiums for the Six String Nationals race night.

Tyler Russell was our Super Late Model winner. Tyler was knocking on the door for a win during our last race night- and he got it done last night to earn the win. Tyler also finished second in our Six String Nationals race- capping off a really successful race night!

Jim Couch won the Open Modified division. His modified may have been the best car on the track all night. He had to chase down the win from back in the pack, but definitely was the car to beat last night. Good job Jim.

Doug Townsend had a smooth race car all night and proved to be the top of the field. Doug dialed it in to earn his first Feature Win at The Barn Raceway! Great job- and thanks for coming to race with us.

Dan Stewart earned his first Barn Raceway A main win in the Next Gen LM class last night. Dan bested a field of up and coming 1/5 scale racers in an exciting race. Thanks for racing with us Dan!

We feel like our weekly 1:5 scale fields are unmatched. The racing is super competitive in every class, and earning a win in any division is an impressive feat. We appreciate the racers for choosing The Barn Raceway to spend their Saturday nights!

Six String Nationals results photos:

The Colbridge Motorsports Six String Nationals event is in the books! Twenty four Pro Stock cars filled the pits for this unique event/format. Over 100 cars in the pits in total.

The Six String Nationals winner is Brian Phipps. Rounding out the podium was Tyler Russell and Richard Peters. Phipps would also win the hard charger award after beginning the round of mains in the C main.

Brandon Grubb was our quick qualifier for the class. Brandon had the duty of drawing the invert. His draw would completely invert the heat races. So, our 4 quick qualifiers - who would normally start on the pole, started 6th. It was exciting to see who worked their way through the fields in this topsy turvy heat race layout. The fast guys took it with a grin and went to work. In the end, with such a strong field….there are always super fast cars who don’t make the cut.
On this night- there were no excuses (ahh, maybe one or two)….but the challenge was to get on the track and out perform who shared the shared with you. Kudos to every racer who participated in the event that Jameson worked so hard to put together. He has worked for weeks to bring all the details to life. The coolest trophy of the year, so much cash and prizes, and added elements that we don’t get to see any other time of the year. Thanks for making an exciting race night for the racers!

2 Days Away! Maybe for the first time all year our forecast is perfect! We’re looking forward to having you all out for an exciting night of racing!

Although we’re highlighting our Pro Stock Late models, we have a full slate of action on Saturday. All of our weekly classes will be running. Tis the season that track championship points battles begin heating up.
We’re looking forward to seeing our 1/10th lineup lock horns on the first as well as our 1/5 scale fire breathing machines putting on a show!

So excited to get back to action Saturday night. If you’re on the fence about this weekend - rethink it! Perfect weather, a parking lot full of friends and friendly competition, and racing under the summer night stars. It doesn’t get any better.

Let’s Go! The Bad Boys of the Pro Stock Division take center stage this Saturday night for the Colbridge Motorsports 6 String Nationals. Cash and prizes are blowing out all night! Who’s the favorite? Who’s the dark horse? Will it be a traveling in outlaw that takes home the prized commemorative custom guitar trophy? We’re excited to see it all go down THIS SATURDAY at The Barn Raceway!

Next Saturday, August 29th is our 2nd Annual 6 String Nationals at The Barn Raceway. We'll be featuring our Pro Stock Late Models for this big night of racing presented by Colbridge Motorsports.

Lots of cash and prizes going out to our Pro Stock guys - not to mention the coolest trophy of the year! We'll be giving away a custom wrapped guitar to our feature winner!

Don't miss this one - we have some added surprises in store for this race night as well.

Night number two of our Summer Night Duels went down on a perfect summer night. 104 cars in the pits mixing it up for the hardware and the cash!

Our Losi Late Models raced their first official Saturday night race! The racers decided they wanted to pitch in some cash for the inaugural race. What started as a couple hundred dollars quickly turned into $500!! We paid out our top 5 LM’s in a big opener for the all new class. 19 Losi Lates packed the pits for get after the gold cup and the cash! When the dust settled, it was the little Kentucky Killer who slayed the field for the $200 payday!! Sutton Kouns (how old is he again?!) stood atop the field of heavy hitters for the Losi Late Model win.
Rob Brown and Quinn Martindale would each earn an SC mod win on our back to back SC mod A mains.
Brandon Bender picked up the Losi Sprint win with Friday night’s winner finishing runner up. Tom Meeker was looking for that double down bonus $- but Bender would hold him off.
Brian Phipps wins back to back with the Super Late Models and Open Mods. Tyler Russell had a hot rod for the Barn that got faster as the night went on. A drag race to the finish line had them less than .5 seconds apart when they crossed the line.
Kyle Keaton would beat the field of Stock Late Models.
Grant Cox earned the Next Gen LM A Main win.
Jameson Colbridge fought obstacles all weekend - but the battle was worth it. He went home with the Pro Stock Late Model win in what may have been the most competitive battle of the night.
And, last but not least- Jayden Moore fights through the pack to get a late race pass for the win in the Traxxas Modified division. It was Jayden’s second career win, and emotional one! Jayden was elated on the drivers stand, getting hugs and high fives from the other racers. Jayden worked hard to help up at the track all weekend. Worked the gate, took podium photos, turn marshaling often- and mopping up the competition in the A main to get the win. Great job Jayden.

Congrats to all of our winners and podium finishers. Thanks to all who chose to join us to race.

We’ll be back in action in two weeks for the popular Colbridge Motorsports 6 String Nationals! We’ll see you then!
