There’s something extra special about getting to be a small part of more than one chapter in a customer’s story.

I had the privilege of making cookies for this customer’s bridal shower, and this time I got to help celebrate the next step with a “Just Married” cake!

This cake brought a couple of fun firsts for me, too! It was my first time trying this style of vintage piping, and I loved getting to play around with all those beautiful details. I also decided it was the perfect opportunity to work on something else new, a red velvet cake recipe!

Trying new techniques and recipes can always come with a few nerves, but I love when an order gives me the chance to stretch myself a little and add something new to my baking toolbox.

🥕 Organically Grown & Sweet as Can Be! 🐓

I always love seeing a familiar name pop up with another cookie order! It means so much when a repeat customer trusts me once again to create something special for another celebration.

This time it was for a baby shower with the sweetest “Organically Grown” theme for Baby Limesand! From the little farm stand and fresh garden veggies to the bundled carrots and, of course, that adorable chicken 🐓🥕🍅—this set was such a fun one to bring to life!

And once I heard the party favors were going to be cute little egg cartons filled with fresh eggs, I knew that chicken cookie couldn’t have fit the theme any better! 🥚🐓 Such a fun and creative detail to tie everything together.

A little one lovingly grown, a family ready to welcome them, and plenty of farm-fresh sweetness to celebrate. 🌱👶🤍

A favorite design is always worth making again! 💕☕🌸

I had the pleasure of recreating this “Tea with the Bride to Be” bridal shower set, this time with a softer, lighter palette of sage green and blush pink. It’s always fun to revisit a previous design and give it a fresh little twist while keeping all the details that made the original so special.

From the vintage teapot and floral teacup to the engagement ring and elegant lettering, these cookies were the perfect addition to a beautiful bridal shower. It’s such an honor when clients come back to a design they love and trust me to make it just a little different for their special day.

These cookies were a special set to create for two hardworking girls showing their dairy steers at the Wright County Fair! 🐄🍀

The winning bidder in the Wright County 4-H Blue Ribbon Auction will receive this custom cookie set as a sweet thank-you for supporting these outstanding young livestock exhibitors.

The Blue Ribbon Auction is about so much more than bidding. It’s a way to recognize the countless hours, early mornings, and dedication these 4-H members pour into raising and caring for their animals. Every bid celebrates a young exhibitor’s accomplishments and helps support not only the individual youth but the entire Wright County 4-H program.

To make this set even more personal, each girl had the opportunity to sign her own “Thank You” cookie while we were at the fair. I don’t have a photo of the finished signed cookies, but I love that the winning bidders will receive a keepsake that’s not only handmade by me, but personally signed by the exhibitor they chose to support.

I’m honored to play a small part in celebrating these amazing kids and the supporters who invest in their future. Best of luck to both girls in the show ring, and thank you to everyone who helps make the Blue Ribbon Auction such a meaningful tradition! 💚💙🐄

Sweet sixteen calls for something just as sweet!

This birthday set was filled with all the pretty details, soft pinks, touches of gold, candles ready to celebrate, and a little cake that’s almost too cute to eat. 🎂

Creating cookies for milestone birthdays is always so much fun, and turning 16 is definitely one worth celebrating. Wishing the birthday girl a day full of laughter, memories, and lots of cake (and cookies, of course)!

Love is Brewing ☕🤍

This coffee-themed bridal shower set was such a fun one to create! From latte art and coffee cups to engagement rings, coffee beans, and sweet little “Love is Brewing” cookies, every design was made to fit the cozy coffeehouse theme.

And here’s a little behind-the-scenes confession… 🤦🏻‍♀️ I somehow managed to leave the coffee stain cookie out when I took the finished photo! Thankfully, I was able to get a picture of the cookies from the bridal shower setup (second photo) so it still got its moment to shine. Sometimes the best photos happen after the cookies have already left the kitchen!

🧸🇬🇧 A little bear, a big adventure, and a sweet baby boy on the way! 💙

This Paddington-inspired cookie set was such a fun theme for a baby shower! From the iconic red telephone box and double-decker bus to Paddington himself complete with his suitcase and that very important reminder: “Please look after this baby. Thank you.” 🥹

Such a sweet way to celebrate the beginning of a brand-new adventure. ✨

There’s just something about chocolate raspberry cake that gets everyone in our house excited and always hoping there might be a little extra! 🍫❤️

When part of the request for this special retirement cake said, “She’s big on a layer of goodness in the middle,” we knew exactly what to do. We may have been a little extra generous with that delicious raspberry goodness… but can you really have too much of a good thing? 😋
