David’s connection to Standard Deluxe runs deep. He’s played here many times and wrote many songs for his latest album, All the Not So Gentle Reminders, during a writing retreat right here on our grounds. His music holds a special place in our hearts, and we invite you to come experience it for yourself.

Blending folk, Americana, and soulful rock into something deeply personal and atmospheric, his songs are both intimate and expansive, lingering long after the last note. He writes with a rare honesty, exploring memory and dreams, fleeting love, and the quiet hope that something better lies ahead.
