Regretfully the "Socially Conscience Cinema" film series planned for tomorrow (Mar 17) and beyond has been postponed for the immediate future.

Besides needing a bit more help hosting the documentaries - I am having shoulder surgery Friday - which I expect will incapacitate me for the foreseeable future!

But don't despair! We'll be back with the series later in the spring/early summer. Perhaps an outdoors venue? Please add your thoughts or suggestions and keep fighting the good fight!

And always support your local artists and businesses!

We had such a fun Halloween night at the theater! Surrounded by friends, we all had a great time with some scary movies. Now, for something REALLY scary (ha ha)... the theater is prepaerd to welcome the California Whale Watchers Club to the stage! The show starts this Saturday night at 7:30pm!

Are you looking for something a little old school this Halloween? How about in the market for a cheap and easy date night? Come on down to the Waverly Storefront Theater for a night of classic horror films this Saturday night! We will be showing a double feature! First up, John Carpenter's seasonal classic, "Halloween" -- And our second feature, the terrifying modern zombie classic "28 Days Later" -- Come on down to the theater at 7pm! Your $10 admission to our Halloween Party includes free movies on the big screen, access to our local art gallery, and we will have plenty of refreshments available. So, come on out to the Theater Saturday night!
