I'm teaching my son that we don't beg for a seat at someone else's table.
We don't chase people who make us feel unwanted.
We don't keep pouring into relationships where the effort is never returned.

Instead we build our own table.
One where kindness is expected, respect is mutual, and love NEVER has to be earned.
Because the people who truly value you will never make you question whether you belong.

You can only blame yourself for missing out. You chose not to be part of his life. And maybe you deserve not to know anything about him.
