So, 2026 marks the 20th year of The Human Canvas... 2025 was the worst year financially the shop has seen. The number of shops in town has about tripled in the last 5 years, amazon sells all the supplies and tik tok is the new go to for an "apprenticeship". The industry is flooded and the flood gate has washed away. Being that I'm sick of sitting around waiting to starve, some changes will be made. I took on a position in The Bloodhound Band and will be out playing music a lot of weekends and will most likely find some other work to keep me busy during the days. I will still keep my licenses up and continue to tattoo and do body piercings, but part time and more by appointment. I'll still be in sometimes, and y'all are more than welcome to stop in for walk in type stuff, if I'm here. Message the shop or myself to set up appts, otherwise. I'll try to post hours that I'll be in shop here.
