Working overtime has put me in a crunch to turn out a few commissions in the next few days that are due.

This porch chandelier was brought in without any remaining sconces, so I hammered out six 5" brass rounds and forged six iron candle spikes and brazed and welded them into place.

Some projects are just a struggle, but you push through them. A variation on some of the railroad spikes sahs's I have done before, with a counter twist handle and engraved with two dots and three Thurs runes on either side, a black finish and sheath. Not as clean as I would have liked, but it was close.

A set if brackets that were installed on cedar posts to hold morning glories. Might get a few installed pictures up later.

A set of seaxs for a wedding party. Clockwise twists for the groom's side, counterclockwise for the bride's side, and counter-twists for the fathers. Made from railroad spikes gather by the groom's father. The small seax was forged together by the bride and groom. Special thanks to Gryphon Co. Leather for providing the sheaths on short notice.

Late update that was promised last week: working is being done on preventing flooding in the shop, including the clearing of a cistern, reattachment of a subpump, and terracing to lessen the flow rate of runoff from a nearby alley. Work was hoped to be done the end of last week, but has yet to be completed.

Additionally, hours of operation will not be in effect for the remainder of this week, and until the 28th of June.
