a workshop or studio, especially one used by an artist or designer. Waupaca's only house venue since 2015.

Shows are held on a non-regular basis, dm for booking. All Shows are 21+, we ID
Covers are taken at the door by band or volunteer
Covers are split between venue and bands
There is a designated smoking area
No drugs, no weapons, no bigots

Who would be interested in an Art Day at The Atelier ? No bands, just mix of whatever I feel like putting on tunewise and access to art supplies. Bring a canvas and some snacks or beverages and use our space to work on art together. I'm willing to give tips and advice for anyone asking.

Yes, I have a dragon in my garage. Yes, hanging it up prevents me from opening the garage door 😆 As fun as this is, sadly I dont think it will travel well for shows, and I do not wish to put it back in storage.

If anyone wants a MASSIVE dragon that stands about 8 ft high and has a 16 foot+ wingspan, send offers or inquire to view this in person. It has gotten some damage over the years, but nothing a layer of paint and flexseal won't fix. Once traveled to its destination, I can touch up any paint/tears.

Once stored and hung indoors, it is QUITE AN IMPRESSIVE SIGHT! Would be great for a spacious venue or stage/ art gallery. Has countless hours of work, blood, sweat, and tears put into it and has been salvaged/rebuilt 3 times.

This will need a uhaul or large van to move. Comes in 2 pieces, the wings fold.

SHOW UPDATE! We are moving our next show The Atelier presents... The Great Solo Spectacular to Brooklyn WI! Which although much farther from our home in Waupaca, is much closer to Madison, so Madison peeps be sure to support our creatives and music! Hosting our spectacular event is the illustrious Mad Farm Moto & Music I encourage all to attend their next event SPRING BASH! To get a feel and vibe tons of artists and musicians and CAMPING!

I'd like to thank this upstanding community member for reporting our gathering. Matthew Jon Schilling had the community in mind, not his, hes actually from wisconsin rapids, but hey, trash goes far when the winds blowin' and acted out in the interest of the township by forming an anonymous tip. As you can see, he has some big prospects in the music community and loves to brag about his support

Most people, when they get out of jail, work on bettering themselves and making proper changes to their life. Not Matt, this selfless individual wanted to focus on improving the community.

Thank you so much, Matthew Jon Schilling, musicians, bands, venues, live music attendees, please, support this do gooder and show him your appreciation, and certainly dont kick him out of your establishment. When he's not committing battery or domestic abuse, he's reaaaalllyy just there for the music.

Many have been messaging, commenting, and asking what can we do to help? As of now, nothing immediate. Complaining won't change the outcome, I admit it feels good putting out an angry 2 cents, but it isn't effective and could potentially get us into more trouble.

However, what could potentially have a MASSIVE impact is for everyone thats visited from out of town shoot an email tell us what show you attended, what your impression was, the cleanliness and space of the atmosphere, how a show has impacted you and MOST IMPORTANTLY where you spent money, whether its grabbing chips at a gas station, went out to dine, especially if you got a hotel or had breakfast next day, filled up your tanks, if you made plans to visit waupaca again based on that, if there were any hot spot destinations like a record shop or cute restaurant you've visited since and majorly if you considered vacationing or even slightly considered living in waupaca based on a show here.

This goes for all attendees, including bands. Waupaca is very tourist driven, and if this benefitted that aspect, we might have a shot to eventually be a thing. Im not making any guarentees but it would do wonders to potentially put us on the "positive" radar that again knock on wood, if ever they were future events, we'd be left in peace and who knows maybe even sponsored.
