Julie Ferris-Tillman, Director
Julie’s a regular on stage and behind the scenes. Most recently, she directed DEAD MAN’S CELL PHONE and THE SOLDIER’S TALE at Kettle Moraine Playhouse and GOD OF CARNAGE at Sunset Playhouse. Among her favorite roles are Pickles in LIFE SUCKS, Sugar in TINY, BEAUTIFUL THINGS and Emily Penrose in LIFESPAN OF A FACT. You can also find her playing at ComedySportz. She’s madly in love with this cast and knows you will be too.
Erico Ortiz, Dramaturg & Spanish Language Consultant
Erico has spent his life as an educator and performer. Favorite performances include Calendar Girls (John, WCT), Stand and Deliver (Jaime Escalante, Racine Theatre Guild), award-winning roles in Dogs of the Blue Gods, The Way We Suffer, The Laramie Project (Village Playhouse). Directorial experiences include Bloom (WCT), The House of Bernarda Alba (Inspiration Studios), The Cemetery Club (West Allis Players). In 2014, he opened Inspiration Studios, a performance venue in downtown West Allis.
Ariel Mitchell Williams, Stage Manager
Ariel Mitchell Williams is happy to be stage managing her 4th show at WCT with such a great crew and cast! Her other theatrical endeavors include writing original plays and working with Pink Umbrella’s Disability Cohort, where she learned to create new dramatic works for actors of all abilities. Thank you to WCT for bringing such important stories to the stage and thank you to her boys at home for allowing Mom to come garden. Watch out for chainsaws!
Mitchell Anderson, Assistant Stage Manager
Mitchell is thrilled to make his debut at WCT as the assistant stage manager of this production! He has been helping to create theater in many forms ever since he was 10, and he plans to continue doing so in his upcoming senior year at UW-Madison. Mitchell would like to thank his family and friends for supporting him in everything he does, and the company of Native Gardens for allowing this production to be such a welcoming experience.
