Sunset Stables - Horse Boarding, Training, Trails & More A beautiful, drama-free boarding facility conveniently located off of Hwy83/Sunset Dr in Genesee/Wau Stalls cleaned 7 days per week. Owners live on site.

Horses are turned out daily, weather permitting, in small herds in large paddocks for the winter with large run-in sheds and automatic heated waterers and rotated amongst three large pastures in the summer/fall. Horses are fed quality feed twice per day and an additional feed at night check for indoor boarders as needed. Additional amenities include insulated barn with padded stalls, attached 60'X

120' indoor insulated arena, heated tack room with private tack lockers and indoor wash stall. Property includes flat grassy areas and trails for outdoor riding. Lapham Peak Unit - Kettle Moraine State Forest is a short drive away for additional trail ride options. Trailer parking available on site. Maximum 12 horses boarded for a more private experience and more room to enjoy your equine experience. Family run property, owned and operated by Charlee', Jamie & Delaney Vander Berg.

Today’s big project - burying a downspout to minimize mud for our outdoor horses. Of course every project has to come with extra difficulties - who knew we would be digging through not one but two buried retaining walls?! A full day’s work and it’s done. This should really reduce the mud and hopefully eliminate the washout that happens in this area.

After working last night to trench and lay wires today we had a camera system installed for safety and added speakers for the barn and arena for some entertainment. Of course it’s always one of our own horses trying to lend a helping hand. Thanks for the assist Wh**ky! Thankful for all our family members that helped get this project done.

Shelter area for 24 X 7 outdoor horses - gutters have been added, refreshed pea gravel and large mats around the feeder all add up to better mud control. It’s a constant project, but more manageable now with the changes we’ve made.

Happy to have the trails cleaned up and the obstacles refreshed. One new obstacle and a few more on the way.

A little walk around the property this morning to admire the finished fence. It’s refreshing to have a contractor show up when he says he is going to, do the work in a timely manner and of course do it well. Highly recommend Scott Biggy of Biggy’s Grading and Landscaping. Thrilled to have our outer perimeter fences all done.
