All info. below! I want to let you know about the workshop below, which happens next Wednesday, and ask you all to please invite youth to sign up for this workshop and help spread the word. There are only ten spots left, but I wanted to make sure our Waukegan, Lake County, and young community members know about it. I will also continue to advertise this event in the ways we have. If you do attend, to please wear clothes you can get messy, bring a photo of your favorite household plant (or any flower you think is beautiful), and bring a few leaf and/or flower clippings from your yard.
NATURE SO BRIGHT: An "E.A.S.E." Art Workshop depicting colorful plants, flowers, & creatures, led by Katrina Davis-Salazar and the amazing Community Art Apprentices! This is the only remaining workshop for the Summer. We will be focusing on planning Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 programming! Yay! So excited for the coming year. Thank you to all who attended and made our first year so amazing. Take care all. More info below.

Last night's workshop was so uplifting and grounding. thank you to griffin and all who made it so. Please attend the Juneteenth Art Reception on June 15th at Grayslake.

Hi everyone!
Please spread the word about this important, free Juneteenth Art Workshop at Grayslake campus on June 8th! See all information on flier below. Sign up and invite friends from your community to sign up as well! All must sign up to attend (link to form is below.) Please fill out a separate form for each participant. Explore poignant and essential content, meet wonderful artist and great human Bryn Griffin (CCN at CLC) and learn or perfect three new art techniques. Free, new art kits will be handed out at the end of the workshop. Seats are limited so sign-up soon! Youth and adults are welcome. (Artists about 7 and up would work well with most of these projects. Please accompany youth to this event to help them. We will also have CLC Student Art Apprentices available to help any participant.) Hope to see some of you there! Your artwork will be displayed on Student Street for a month, with an artists' reception on June 15th. Take care!

Highlights from last week's workshop entitled "Sky: Science, Myth, & Magic. This was the last workshop of the year, but there will be at least 8 more next school year! Thank you to all the participants, local artists, and clc staff, faculty, leadership, and students who made this program a success!
