Westside Dance Academy We have a state of the arts facility located at 125 NE Dartmoor Drive, Waukee, Iowa. Our studio has 3 dance rooms with marleyed, sprung floors, and more!

Westside Dance Academy opened it's doors in 1981 with the goal of nurturing a love of dance. Throughout the years, our studio continued to grow. We opened the doors to our new facility that is located at 125 NE Dartmoor Drive in Waukee, December of 2003. This facility offers three large rooms with state of the art suspended marley floors, high ceilings, surround sound stereo and spacious dressing

and waiting areas. The faculty is comprised of eight talented teachers offering classes in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop. Our goal at Westside Dance Academy is to provide the highest quality of dance education to each individual student. In a balance of disciplined dance training and imaginative fun, our dancers blossom to their full potential

We are so excited to welcome Mikaela back from Los Angeles to teach jazz workshops at Westside Dance Academy! We absolutely love bringing Mikaela in to work with the dancers. This is an incredible opportunity to learn from a talented professional with industry experience.

At WDA, your dancer is more than just a number. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, family-oriented environment where every dancer is known, supported, and encouraged. Our qualified and passionate staff truly love and adore each dancer and are dedicated to helping them grow, not only as dancers, but as confident individuals.

We offer dance classes for all ages and abilities, beginning at 18 months old, with a wide variety of styles to choose from. Whether your dancer is taking their first steps into dance or continuing to build their skills, we have a place for them at WDA!
