✨ MEET YOUR TEACHERS ✨

If you’ve been part of the Dancepiration family for a while, you already know that Miss Blair & Miss Baler are truly two peas in a pod! They complement each other perfectly - one brings the dance, the other brings the tumbling, and together they make quite the duo! Miss Blair will be entering her 10th season & Miss Baler will start her 4th season. While they may teach two different sides of the studio, there’s a LOT they have in common… One does the hair, the other does the makeup. Miss Blair always has a Coke in hand, meanwhile Miss Baler is a Dr Pepper girl. They are a true brunette + blonde duo, basically good cop/bad cop… but they’ll let YOU decide who is who. 😉 Both are the second-born in their families AND the first-born daughters, which means they are both VERY Type A and independent (to a fault sometimes). Both are WCHS graduates, both are still with their high school sweetheart, and although Watseka will always be home, both currently reside in Champaign County.

🧑‍🩰GET TO KNOW MISS BLAIR!
When Miss Blair isn’t teaching dance, she can usually be found at home soaking up time with her toddler, Landon, or out on a walk with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Waylon.

🪩 She’s a NATURAL BLONDE! (Yes, really!)
🪩 She is a travel enthusiast and has a goal of visiting all 50 states while traveling out of the country as much as possible!
🪩 She is a mommy to soon-to-be three - her son 💙, her angel baby 👼🏼, and a sweet baby girl 💗 who will be joining the family soon!
🪩 She can drive pretty much every piece of farm machinery and loves helping out on the farm for her husband & father-in-law whenever she can… except the semi. She has to draw the line somewhere! 🤣
🪩 And perhaps most importantly… her favorite part of ANY outfit is the shoes! She has a pair of Nikes to match pretty much every outfit she could possibly wear.

🤸🏼‍♀️ GET TO KNOW MISS BALER!
When Miss Baler isn’t teaching tumbling, she can be found at Carle Hospital, where she works as a nurse caring for new moms and their babies…. & here’s a pretty special connection; Miss Baler will actually be Miss Blair’s nurse when baby girl arrives in October!

🪩 She usually prefers an audiobook over music when she’s alone — especially on a long drive! Right now, she’s listening to the Fourth Wing series.
🪩 She STILL sleeps with her baby blanket every single night. No exceptions! 😬
🪩 She will NEVER turn down steak or ice cream. They’re her favorites!
🪩 She has an irrational fear of BOTH heights and deep water.
🪩 She is definitely NOT a morning person, and speaking to her before coffee is strongly discouraged. 🤣

So, whether your dancer is learning their first dance steps with Miss Blair or mastering their next tumbling skill with Miss Baler, one thing is for sure… These two bring SO much heart, personality, and passion to Dancepiration!

As we wrapped up registration, yesterday, for our 10TH SEASON of DDA, I found myself thinking back to our very first registration day 10 years ago… I remember sitting there SO nervous and anxious, wondering if anyone would even show up. Wondering if I would have enough students to fill a class. Wondering if this little dream I had would actually become something bigger than I ever imagined.

And then… fast forward 10 YEARS…
Our parking lot was FILLED, our line stretched all the way out to the road, and people were waiting OVER 3 HOURS before our doors even opened. 😭🥹 I genuinely don’t know how to put into words what that feels like, but it was a great reminder of how far we’ve come.

To see something that started as a nervous little dream turn into a place where so many dancers & families call home is something I will never, ever take for granted. Every registration form, every returning family, every new face, every recommendation, every “we can’t wait for next season” means more than you know.

YOU guys have built Dancepiration. 🩵

Over these past 10 years, we have watched tiny dancers grow, friendships blossom, confidence soar, families become lifelong friends, and countless memories be made inside those studio walls. And now, somehow, we are entering our 10TH SEASON with our BIGGEST ENROLLMENT TO DATE. What a way to celebrate a decade of Dancepiration!! To every family who has trusted us with their dancers — whether you’ve been here for 10 years, 1 year, or you just joined us yesterday:

🪩🩵 YEAR 10 REGISTRATION IS TOMORROW 🩵🪩
(Aug 19th 3:00pm - 7:00pm @ Dancepiration)

We cannot wait to see everyone & are so excited to meet some new faces!! Please be aware that our registration day often has lines out the door and wait times, plan accordingly! We try to go as quickly as we possibly can. If you have your registration form pre-filled out… GREAT! If not… no worries - we have extra copies on hand to be filled out the day of. Students registering for any/all tumbling classes will be required to fill out an additional form the day of sign-ups.

First months tuition (September) along with the $15 one time, registration free, per dancer is due at the time of registration. This can be paid by cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, or CashApp.
• If paying through an app - you must be 100% certain you are paying “via friends & family” or else a 4% fee will be applied to your next invoice.
• If you are paying with cash - please try to have exact on hand, we don’t always have the correct change, but we can offer a credit to your next invoice!

The 2026 - 2027 class schedule is officially here!! We’ve been working behind the scenes to create a schedule filled with all the things we LOVE — dancing, tumbling, acro, flexibility, friendships, confidence, creativity, and let’s not forget - SO MUCH FUN!!

Your Season 10 class schedule is officially ready, and we are SO excited to share it with you! And yes… you read that right…

10 YEARS!!!

✨ The 2026–2027 Dance Season is going to be one for the books! ✨ We are beyond excited to announce that this season marks 10 incredible years of Dancepiration Dance Academy! 🪩🤍 What started as a dream has grown into a family, and we cannot wait to celebrate this special milestone with all of our dancers, families, and our amazing Dancepiration community. Our 10th season is going to be filled with extra excitement, new classes, special memories, and moments we’ll cherish forever — you truly do not want to miss it! We are putting the final touches on our class schedule and can’t wait to share it with you all early next week! In the meantime, please take a few minutes to read through the following season information, updates, and reminders as we prepare for another amazing year together. Here’s to 10 years of passion, growth, friendships, and dancing! 💖🤩🧑‍🩰🩰

• Arrival Time - Students should arrive 5–10 minutes before their scheduled class time. Please avoid arriving more than 10 minutes early, as teachers use that time before class to prepare for classes. Even if your dancer is in the first class of the day, this time is essential for teacher setup and preparation. We understand that special circumstances may arise. If you need your student to arrive early on occasion, please communicate with their teacher ahead of time so we can do our best to accommodate.

• Class Cancelations - Miss Blair and Miss Baler are each allotted up to three personal class cancellations during the dance season. If personal cancellations exceed this amount, tuition credits will be issued for the additional canceled classes. In the event of weather-related or other “Acts of God” cancellations, one cancellation will be accepted without credit. If weather or emergency-related cancellations exceed one, tuition credits will be issued for any additional missed classes. All class cancellations and studio updates will be communicated through the BAND app, so please ensure notifications are turned on and checked regularly.

• Enrollment Reminder - Per our studio policy placed into effect last season: If a student does not complete the current dance season in dance and/or tumbling classes due to financial, behavioral, or personal reasons, their enrollment eligibility for future seasons will be placed on a waitlist status. This means class placement for future seasons will only be offered AFTER open registration and ONLY if space is available. Because our classes often sell out, early withdrawal limits opportunities for other dancers and impacts the commitment to our program.

• Tuition Update - I always try my hardest to keep dance as affordable as possible for every family, so making this decision was not an easy one. Unfortunately, dance class tuition will be increasing by just $1 per class this season. While I truly hate having to raise prices, the continued increase in operating expenses and everyday living costs has made it necessary to keep the studio running and continue providing the experience our dancers deserve. To help put it into perspective, this is the first tuition increase in over five years. During that time, I have done everything I could to absorb rising costs rather than pass them along to our dance families. However, tumbling class tuition will remain the same as it has been. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your understanding, your continued support, and for trusting Dancepiration with your children. It truly means more than you’ll ever know, and I can’t wait for another amazing season together!

• Injury & Behavior - Parents will be notified of any injury, illness, or incident that occurs during class. Minor concerns will be communicated through a note sent home, while emergencies will result in immediate contact by phone. Behavior concerns will receive one warning per class, followed by a written notice that must be signed and returned if further discipline is needed. To maintain a safe, positive, and respectful environment, bullying or repeated misconduct will not be tolerated, and dancers who receive three behavior notices may be dismissed from Dancepiration without a refund.

• Registration Requirements - All dancers must meet the age requirement for their specific class by October 1st 2026 in order to enroll. Each dancer must have their own individual registration form completed (siblings may not be listed on the same form). A one-time $15 registration fee per dancer, along with the first month’s tuition, will be due at the time of registration.

ALL DANCE CLASSES WILL BEGIN ON SEPTEMBER 1st
ALL TUMBLING CLASSES WILL BEGIN ON SEPTEMBER 14th
