50 Years ago these guys were a day away from the 14th and final F1 race of the 1975 season. Ferrari had already taken eight poles, five wins, the Drivers’ Championship and the Constructors’ Championship that year, but had never won the United States Grand Prix. Nor had any driver ever won the American race in the year he claimed the title. Niki Lauda (out of frame) had something to prove.
1975 USGP: Drivers Meeting with Mario Andretti, Clay Regazzoni, Tom Pryce, (possibly Brett Lunger seated behind in 2nd frame), Jean-Pierre Jarier, Patrick Depailler, John Watson, James Hunt, Carlos Reutemann (seated on floor against door) and flagman Tex Hopkin’s arm.
