More of you have been reaching out for landscape design, garden consultations, and hands-on Garden Help — so I’m adjusting my week to make more room for those appointments.

Garden Lady’s Obsession will still have regular gift shoppe hours Thursday through Saturday, while Monday through Wednesday will be available for landscape and garden appointments.

That means more time for site visits, consultations, design conversations, and helping you figure out what to do with the garden you already have.

Gift Shoppe hours:
Thursday 2–6p
Friday 10a–6p
Saturday 10a–6p

Monday–Wednesday:
Available by appointment for landscape design, consultations, and Garden Help.

Garden Lady’s Obsession is glad to be part of Downtown Watertown at 111 N. Fourth Street. The shop brings together garden-inspired gifts, art and calligraphy supplies, plant care items, fairy garden pieces, and other creative finds, with workshops and local artisan work continuing to grow into the space.

I’m excited to be here and grateful for the support from the downtown community.

A notebook was taken apart for journal paper, which left me with the metal binding coil
The roses from a bouquet were ready to be dried.

So naturally, the coil became a flower-drying rack in the front window.

I am beginning to think very little around here will ever be used for only one purpose.

I’m excited to be part of The BIG Pop-Up 2026 Street Fair!

Garden Lady’s Obsession will not be tucked into a separate booth. I’ll be spilling right out of my storefront and onto the sidewalk at 111 N. 4th Street, with plenty to explore both inside and out.

Hi, I'm Crystal Needham Arnold and I’ll be bringing out botanical artwork, journals, nature-inspired gifts, fairy garden supplies, wax seal supplies, stickers made from my original artwork, and a few things I’ve been working on behind the scenes.

You’ll also find a little Crystal Clear Estimates LLC. presence at Clara’s Antiques’ booth, so keep an eye out while you’re walking through the event.

Stop by the shop, browse the sidewalk display, and come say hello. I’d love to talk plants, art, old things, and all the curious ideas that keep finding their way into this space.

You never know what you might find at Garden Lady’s Obsession.

I recently set up a vintage Tasco 1200x microscope with preserved specimens ready to examine, including a honey bee, tadpole, fly, and other tiny discoveries.
This is not only something to look at on a shelf. You can stop in, choose a specimen, and take a closer look at details that are normally far too small to see.

Wings. Segments. Texture. Structure.

It is a simple reminder that nature becomes even more interesting when you slow down and look closely.

The microscope station is now set up inside the shoppe and ready for curious visitors.

From original artwork... to sticker.

Every design begins with one of my own hand-illustrated botanical studies.

This illustration of Helianthus maximiliani (Maximilian Sunflower) was created on textured, deckled-edge paper using alcohol markers, colored pencil, Micron fineliners, and a white paint pen.

From there, I carefully reproduced the artwork as glossy vinyl stickers so these little botanical studies can find new homes.

Thank you to the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce for such a warm welcome and for helping make our ribbon cutting a memorable day!

I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, offered encouragement, shared kind words, and has supported this dream from the very beginning. Opening both Crystal Clear Estimates and Garden Lady's Obsession has truly been a community effort, and I couldn't have done it without so many wonderful people standing beside me.
