So about a month ago I decided to do my last batch of ice dyeing for the season - due to the cold temperatures in New England I don’t play with this in the winter season, since I do this outside in the garden.
I love how the combination of fabric, ice and dyes ….and even weather …controls the effects.
It’s messy and time consuming process and yet it is one of my favorite techniques to alter fabric.

SAFETY SEMINAR FOR LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS
On behalf of the Watertown Merchants Association, I have recently asked Chris Marciano and Prepare To Act to put together a seminar for local business owners and their employees in lieu of recent events that have taken place in the area. This will involve a presentation on everything from "the right action to take" as well as business owners rights. This will also include a question, and answer period as well. This seminar will run approximately 2-2 1/2 hours depending on the dialogue at the end.

Gayle's Farm Shoppe, located in Depot Square, has kindly Donated her space, there will be coffee served. Joe Seacrist and the EDC has been generous to support and sponsor this event. this is free to business owners and their staff. The date has been CONFIRMED for August 26th, Wednesday at 6:30pm. There is no press invited to this event.

Although we are fine with owners deciding last minute to attend, I am hoping those that will be there for sure can either Email Natalie Testa at [email protected] or call Ragtime Boutique 860-274-0048 during normal business hours.

We are looking forward to this event and are looking at other seminars of all types for business owners in the future!
