🎶 TATTOOING 9 TO 5 FOR A GOOD CAUSE 🎶
September’s Nonprofit Fundraiser 📚✨
This September, Serpent & Sage Tattoo is partnering with North Country Prenatal/Perinatal Council, Inc (NCPPC) to raise funds specifically for their local Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program! 💗 🦋
Here’s how it works: Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides enrolled children from birth to age 5 with a brand-new, age-appropriate book mailed directly to their home every month. Families never pay a dime. 📚
But while the program is completely free to the families receiving the books, there is still a cost behind every book sent. NCPPC serves as the local Imagination Library partner for Jefferson, Lewis & St. Lawrence Counties, enrolling children in our area and helping cover the cost of their books and shipping.
And with more than 2,000 local children currently enrolled, NCPPC’s contribution can total upwards of $72,000 each year. 🤯
That’s where we come in. 🖤
Throughout September, proceeds from our nonprofit flash will be donated to NCPPC specifically to support their Imagination Library program, helping them continue putting books into the hands (and mailboxes!) of little readers all across our community. 📖✨
HOW TO BOOK:
When messaging the shop, please include the design(s) you’d like, your artist preference if you have one, and your preferred day/time or general availability. Sending all of that in your first message helps us get everyone scheduled much more smoothly!
🦋 Flash designs are priced between $100–$150
Please be patient with response times. These nonprofit events always bring in a lot of messages at once, and we personally work through and schedule everyone while still handling our regular shop appointments and messages. We promise we’ll get to you as quickly as we can. 🤍
We say it every month, but we truly mean it, thank you for continuing to show up for these organizations and our community. This month, you get a new tattoo and help put books into the hands of local kids.
