Working as an ensemble of resident company members, we bring these words into the voices, bodies, and imaginations of our actors, audiences and neighborhoods. Fresh off a star turn this summer as the translated Mechanical himself in Commonwealth Shakespeare Company’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and winning the 2026 Elliot Norton Award for Outstanding Actor — we’re so excited to welcome Paul Melendy back to Actors’ Shakespeare Project!

While he’s widely known as one of Boston’s comedic leading men, Paul also played Lavinia in our critically acclaimed all-male production of Titus Andronicus in 2007 staged in the basement of The Garage in Harvard Square.

Join us at the Mosesian Center for the Arts for an immersive haunted house-style gothic fundraiser, featuring spooky scenes from Shakespeare, literary classics and the upcoming season.

Guests will move through a transformed and interactive building, encountering gothic scenes featuring ASP’s Resident Artists, activities such as tarot readings and poetry writings, art installations, and local themed bites and brews to get us all in the spooky spirit.

The evening will culminate in Dracula’s Coffin Club for music, drinks & dancing the eternal night away.

Spooky Victorian or Halloween Costumes encouraged - Dracula will name his Best Dressed Victim at the end of the night.

This event will support ASP’s living, breathing creative ecosystem — one that ensures artists can grow and thrive in the rehearsal room, and audiences can continue to experience award-winning classic theater that feels immediate, electric, and alive.
