Meet Defne who plays Sonya in our upcoming production of Great Comet!

Defne is a rising senior at Watertown High School. She is very excited to be a part of her fourth production at WCT! So far this year, she has stage managed Little Women, been Rosie in Mamma Mia (WHS) and Empress in Anastasia (WCT). She would like to thank her parents for the late rides home from rehearsal. She hopes you enjoy this wonderful cast and production!

Meet Ezzie who plays Anatole in our upcoming production of Great Comet!

Ezra Rudenko is a rising junior B.F.A musical theatre student at SUNY Cortland and is thrilled to be making his WCT debut as Anatole in Great Comet. Some of their favorite productions include Rocky Horror (Ensemble Swing, Cortland Repertory Theatre), Cinderella (Lord Pinkleton, SUNY Cortland), and Mean Girls (Damian Hubbard, ACTS). Ezzie would like to send a shout out to all the amazing cast and crew and production team who make what we do possible. All thanks to his family and friends for their support! Meet Arsen who plays Marya/Mary in our upcoming production of Great Comet!

Arsen Carangelo is a junior studying Vocal Performance and Animal Science at UMASS Amherst. You may recognize them from previous WCT roles including Johanna (Sweeney Todd), Race/Dance Captain (Newsies), and Shakespeare (Something Rotten!). Arsen has also choreographed The Rocky Horror Picture Show at UMASS Amherst. They want to thank their family and friends for always supporting them in their various endeavors.

Meet Shai who plays Helene/Maidservant in our upcoming production of Great Comet!

Shai is so excited to performing in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812! (She has only been begging for it for a few years) She is currently focusing on Psychology and Theatre at Middlesex Community College. She joined Watertown Children's Theatre in 2022 and played so many incredible roles in Hadestown (Persephone), Big Fish (Sandra), Newsies (Medda Larkin), Godspell (Sonia's track), and Bea (Something Rotten). She would like to give a big thank you to everyone who made it possible to do her dream show!

Meet Maya who plays Dolokhov in our upcoming production of Great Comet!

Maya is so excited to be in her first WCT production! Most recently she has been Prince Oliver in Between the Lines and Sam Carmichael in Mamma Mia at Somerville High School. Maya will be attending Dean College this fall to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre, and is excited to see what her next chapter will bring!

Meet William who plays Andrey/Bolkonsky in our upcoming production of Great Comet!

Will is a rising junior at Somerville High School and he is excited to be in his second show at WCT! Previously, he was in Amelie at WCT (Fluffy/Bretodeau/Adrien) and he will perform inThe Lightning Thief as Percy later this summer. He would like to thank the red line for getting him to many rehearsals. He hopes you enjoy this incredible cast and amazing show!

Meet Ruthie who plays Natasha in our upcoming production of Great Comet!

Ruthie is thrilled to be a part of another WCT show! She has recently appeared in Anastasia (Anya), Much Ado About Nothing (Hero), and Fiddler on the Roof (Tevye). She thanks her parents and her older brother for driving her to rehearsals and putting up with the constant showtunes. She is very grateful to be a part of this outstanding cast. Finally she would like to thank her cats Mookie and Joy for always being there, even though they don’t understand anything that’s going on.
