Slide 1 & 2: Utilizing temporary ebony locators at each end while clamping the fingerboard to the neck. These tiny jigs ensure absolute centering under high clamping pressure, there is zero room for shifting.
Slide 3: The opposite side after gluing. Here, I use an in-channel gouge technique to remove a massive chunk of maple waste quickly and cleanly, leaving those beautiful, rhythmic tool marks before final shaping.
