RLMG is a digital experience design firm dedicated to story-driven, interactive, dynamic, immersive, and educational experiences for museums and public spaces.

We have installed over 1000 pieces in museums, universities, cultural centers, and outdoor spaces. We are 36 full-time employees, and our 15,000 square foot studio in Watertown, MA is our headquarters for media exhibit design, production, and extensive prototyping. We are 100% employee-owned.

Its been a busy season for RLMG's production team. We've been out in the field filming new work across multiple states for the Finger Lakes Museum, Frontier Culture Museum , and several other institutions. In the process, our team interviewed some incredible people and captured some high-energy b-roll including a jet skiing event, among others. Despite the ongoing trend towards large-scale immersive and responsive interactivity, sometimes simply capturing a story with a video camera is the most powerful approach.

We cannot wait for these projects to come together!

To round out the summer, two RLMG teams went out into the world for some fun and thought-provoking field trips. Our designers peered through View-Masters and explored other intriguing installations at Boston's Institute of Contemporary Art and explored the history of American currency at the brand new Museum of American Finance. The developers had a more hands-on adventure, solving escape-room-like mini-puzzles at Level 99.

At RLMG, we love coming together as a team for experiences like these. We walk away creatively inspired and have so much fun along the way!

RLMG has completed its latest state museum: the Museum of Utah. We love these projects for the pride and humor and respect that each client brings to celebrating and prodding their state history. Working with Utah Historical Society was no exception. We dove deep with them into Utah's people, landscape, cultures, and history. Our video team spent nearly a month capturing stories across the state. We designed experiences around Utah's rich traditions of dance, food, and video gaming (who knew!). It was a HUGE undertaking that we could not have done with our extremely talented and dedicated client, and our wonderful partners at The Design Minds, Electrosonic , and Capitol Museum Services.

Cowboys telling stories around a campfire, cattle wrangling, target practice, emotional journeys by train. We got to dive into these worlds and more through our media work at the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, which opened on July 4, 2026. Working on a mixture of interactive games and linear work, our media helps transport visitors to the landscape and culture of the breathtaking Badlands that surround the museum itself. This was a truly outstanding project team full of unforgettable collaborations, and we're so honored to have worked on such a high-visibility new project in beautiful Medora, North Dakota.

RLMG went bold on Ruckus! at the Old South Meeting House . Thanks to a remarkable client Revolutionary Spaces and an extremely talented set of partners, we turned a National Historic Landmark into a time machine, bringing history alive at this Freedom Trail destination. As we come off of last week's celebrations of Montana History Fest with Montana Historical Society , we're proud to share a video reel of our work at the Montana Heritage Center! From linear films that recognize diverse Montanans to immersive spaces within historic mines and homesteader cabins, this museum is a vibrant celebration of Montana's landscape, history, and culture. The RLMG Design team had a blast on their field trip to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Museum last week! The team explored interactive and immersive exhibits on a wide range of topics — time, the future, biology, and more. It's such a treat to be visitors for the day, and we love getting creative inspiration from local museums.
