A Little Business Update ❤️
I truly hate having to make another post like this, but unfortunately my health has decided that it's still in charge of my schedule.
After surgery successfully removed the kidney stone, I was hopeful that I was finally on the other side of this very long ordeal. Unfortunately, I've developed another infection, the 3rd one since June 22nd, it's likely related to the stent that's still in place, which means another round of antibiotics and more forced rest. The good news is that the stent is scheduled to be removed August 17th, and I am VERY much looking forward to saying goodbye to it!
On top of everything else, after finally seeing the cardiologist this week, I'll also be wearing a heart monitor for the next month while they investigate some of the dizziness and heart flutters I've been experiencing.
Unfortunately, all of this means I need to cancel several more fairs and events this month. And I am so, so sorry.
Summer events are such a huge part of our business. We look forward to seeing our returning customers every year, meeting new customers, showing you everything we've been creating. Missing so much of this season has been incredibly disappointing.
I've tried very hard to find ways to keep things going, but right now I have to accept that my body simply isn't ready for long days, hauling displays, setting up and tearing down, and spending hours in the heat.
For now, I'm going to concentrate on getting through this infection, getting this stent OUT, finishing the testing my doctors have ordered, and finally getting healthy again.
** We aren't going anywhere. This is just a pause. ❤️**
Thank you to everyone who has continued to support our little business at The Silver Cauldron and Crosstown Local Market. Thank you to all those who have checked in on me, placed orders when we've been able to accept them, and been so incredibly understanding when we've had to change plans.
This definitely wasn't the summer we imagined, but we're hoping for a much healthier fall and we cannot wait to get back out there and see all of you again.
Thanks again for sticking with us. It truly means more than you know. ❤️
