Meta Just Changed the Rules Again.

If you own a local business, this update could determine whether your followers actually see your content...or never know you posted at all.

Here's what most business owners (and most people) don't realize:

The first 30-90 minutes after you publish a post are critical.

Meta is watching.

It's looking to see whether people engage.

Do they stop scrolling?

Do they react?

Do they comment?

Do they click?

If the answer is yes, Meta rewards you with more reach.

If the answer is no, your post can disappear before most of your followers ever see it.

But timing is only part of the equation.

A quick note and an apology from me.

A few weeks ago, I installed an Alexa speaker 🎶outside my business to provide some background music and help create a welcoming atmosphere downtown. Last night, however, I received a call from law enforcement regarding explicit music playing through the speaker. This morning, I checked the camera footage and was also sent videos showing what had occurred.

It honestly never crossed my mind that someone might intentionally misuse the device in that way 😬Looking back, I probably should have considered that possibility, but my goal was simply to add a little enjoyment to the area for everyone.

I sincerely apologize to anyone who heard the inappropriate music or was offended by it. The issue has been addressed, and steps have been taken to ensure it won’t happen again.

Thank you to those who reached out and brought it to my attention. I appreciate your understanding and patience as we learn from situations like this.

Another full house at Element! 🇺🇸✨

Our Patriotic Fireworks Sign Workshop was filled to capacity Monday night, and what a fun evening it was!

From choosing designs to adding those final creative touches, everyone left with a beautiful handmade sign ready to display for the summer season. The room was full of laughter, creativity, and great conversation—exactly the kind of evenings we love hosting.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and to 617 Design for another fantastic workshop. We are so grateful for this community and for all of you who continue to support local events and small businesses.

What a night! 🩵✨

Our Dragonflies & Starry Summer Skies Sip n’ Paint was a full house, and the room was filled with creativity, laughter, and great company from start to finish.

There is something special about gathering around a table, painting something beautiful, and enjoying an evening with friends—old and new. Every canvas turned out uniquely gorgeous, and we loved seeing everyone’s creativity shine.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a fun evening. And of course, thank you to Megan Herbert for another fantastic class!
