Thanks to the Northern New York Community Foundation Youth Philanthropy Council, we have grant funds available to spend on instruments and repairs so that we can continue expanding our library!

Here's what we're looking for:
🎺 Trumpets and cornets
🪈 Flutes
🪈 Clarinets
📯 French Horns/Euphoniums/Baritones
🎷 Saxophones (especially alto, tenor, and bari)
🎺 Trombones
🎺 Tubas
🎻 Violas (any size)
🎻 Violins (any size)
🎻 Cellos (any size)
🎻 Upright bass (any size)

Maybe you have one in your attic that you would be willing to donate or sell at a good price or maybe you know someone who has something we could use. Either way, here's what you can do:

- To donate: bring it to a participating library with North Country Library System (message or email us, if you want to know the closest library).
- To sell: message us here or email [email protected]
- To tell a friend: share this with them!

So who else is performing tomorrow (Thursday, Aug 27th) at our end of summer party?!

Well none other than Sarah Ada:

Sarah loves ukuleles, roller derby, musicals, mermaids, oddities, adventures, and she is certain she could eat 100 shrimp even though her husband thinks she wouldn’t be able to do it.

Register for the beginner uke lessons at 6:30 and concert afterwards for $15 or,
Register for just the concert at 7:30 PM for $10

Meet our ukulele instructor for Thursday, Becky Rose!

Becky has been a music educator for over 25 years and currently teaches choral music at Watertown High School.

Class registration is $15 and includes a ticket to the concert immediately following with Becky Rose and Sarah Ada.

Last night was a spectacular evening of music!

Thank you to all those who came out and a huge thank you to Andrea Wischerath for putting the event together, to both Andrea and Heather Wood for putting the HarmoNNY Winds Ensemble together, to the Silvertone Flute Choir for opening up the evening, and to the musicians of HarmoNNY Winds for giving an outstanding performance! HarmoNNY Winds will be back in December.
