Meet the crew behind the critters! 🐐🐰🫏✨

When you book our traveling petting zoo or hayrides, you’ll likely get one (or maybe all!) of these friendly faces bringing the fun, animals, and smiles to your event.

PETTING ZOO EVENT ATTENDANT & DRIVER

Hi! We are a family-owned mobile petting zoo that has been serving our community for the past 5 years. We’re growing and looking for a dependable, animal-loving person to join our team and drive to and from and run events.

This is a flexible, as-needed position. We will always check your availability ahead of time, and you are never obligated to take a job if the date doesn’t work.

WHAT THE JOB INVOLVES:

You would help with all parts of our petting zoo events including:
Loading animals and equipment at our farm
Driving our truck and trailer to and from events
Setting up fencing panels and animal areas
Unloading and placing animals safely
Running the petting zoo during events
Interacting with children and families in a friendly, professional way
Helping with cleanup, breakdown, and returning everything to the farm

ABOUT THE ANIMALS:

We bring a variety of animals including a miniature pony, miniature donkey, goats (sometimes babies), sheep, chickens, and rabbits.
Smaller animals like rabbits are a big hit and are often held and gently passed around under supervision. Larger animals stay safely in fenced areas where guests pet them through the panels.

EVENTS INCLUDE:

Birthday parties, church events, school events, festivals, town events, and private gatherings.

SCHEDULE:

Part-time and flexible. Events are scheduled as needed and always confirmed ahead of time.

PAY:

$20/hour
Paid time includes ALL time worked:
Loading at the farm
Driving to the event
Setup
Event time
Breakdown
Driving back to the farm
Unloading and putting everything away
Most events are within about an hour of our farm. Setup and breakdown are usually 15–20 minutes each, and events are typically 1–3 hours.

REQUIREMENTS:

-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (show proof of your own auto insurance)
-Must pass a background check as this position includes working with the public and children
-Comfortable driving a truck and trailer
-Comfortable working with farm animals
-Able to lift and move equipment and fencing panels
-Friendly, reliable, and good with children and families

IDEAL PERSON:

Someone who has a lot of truck and trailer driving experience, enjoys animals, doesn’t mind physical work, and likes being part of a small family-run business. Reliability and a good attitude matter more than experience.
