RiverLoop Amphitheatre & Expo Plaza The Riverloop Amphitheatre serves as a unique venue, right off the scenic Cedar River in the exciting location of downtown Waterloo, Iowa.

The RiverLoop Amphitheatre and Expo Plaza are two different venue spaces located downtown Waterloo that function as live music and event venues, festival grounds, and are available as a rental for your unique event or wedding! RiverLoop Rhythms is sponsored by Veridian Credit Union

The RiverLoop Amphitheatre is located adjacent to the Waterloo Center for the Arts along Cedar Street, at the corner

of Park Avenue and Jefferson Street in downtown Waterloo. The Amphitheatre can hold approximately 600 people in the general seating area and can accommodate groups of up to approximately 1,000 people. Venue and restrooms are handicap accessible.

This Saturday officially marks the start of the RiverLoop Summer Season!

Experience the rich culture of Haiti with Haitian Flag Day! All the fun begins at 11:00am - 4:00pm this Saturday, May 16, right out here at the RiverLoop Amphitheatre. Celebrate with kids activities, music, and dancing. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Admission is free.

Live music starts on Friday, May 29 with the Jake Nelson Band beginning at 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Admission is free.

With a very heavy heart the WCA has made the call to cancel tonight's RiverLoop Rhythms with Jake Nelson Band due to the unfortunate weather circumstances we're experiencing.

We hope to welcome Jake Nelson Music back to the Amphitheatre at another time in the future!

We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused to your weekend.

Get yours and make it FRESH and LOCAL by coming out for Sweet Corn Day at the Market on 8/16.

Stop at the Information Tent where we'll be offering 13 ears of sweet and tender corn, fresh from the field and packed in a reusable shopping tote, for just $7 with proceeds supporting Waterloo Urban Farms Market.

We accept SNAP and Double Up Food Bucks (which allow you to get twice as much!), WIC and Senior Vouchers, Veggie Vouchers and our market participates in other food access programs.

And there's more... our friends from the Phelps Youth Pavilion will be on hand for a Play Day featuring a corn-themed craft and other activities. You'll also find corn-based products (cornbread, etc.) featured by vendors in addition to their regular offerings.

The Waterloo Urban Farmers Market takes place each Saturday morning, May through October from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon at the RiverLoop Expo Plaza. Major support is provided by Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, Otto Schoitz Foundation, and City of Waterloo, Iowa.
