We are officially one month away from the application deadline for two of our most iconic venues at the Waterford Fair! If you want to showcase your work this fall, make sure to get your application in by July 11th for:

- The Old Mill Shop: We’re looking for traditional crafters, heritage artisans, and makers who keep historic skills alive.

- Art at the Red Barn: Seeking fine artists, painters, sculptors, and contemporary creators to fill this beautiful, rustic gallery space.

🎻 Big News for the Main Stage! 🪕

After 20 wonderful years of managing our music, Roy Chaudet has officially stepped down from his volunteer role. We are so grateful for everything Roy built, and to keep that momentum going, the Foundation is partnering with David Van Deventer and Morgan Morrison of River & Roots Productions to manage the stage for 2026!

Many of you already know David and Morgan from their afternoons performing in the village with The Furnace Mountain Band. Their background means Waterford will continue to be home to the high-caliber Americana and old-time performances we all look forward to every October.

Join us June 27 & 28 for a wilderness survival weekend designed just for adults (18+) at the Waterford Craft School. Learn essential outdoor survival skills including shelter building, fire making, navigation, finding and purifying water, foraging basics, and wilderness first aid through hands on instruction and real world practice.

Feeling adventurous? Students also have the option to camp overnight between class days and put their new skills to the test!

The email comes from "Eric Lewis" at "Quick Booking Now" and asks exhibitors to book hotel rooms through their link. This is a scam.

❌ Do not click any links or provide credit card information to these solicitors. ❌ All official communications regarding the Fair will come directly from our staff or via Eventeny.

Loved seeing this feature in the Loudoun Times-Mirror about the revival of traditional crafting in our community! 🛠️✨

While the article mentions some great resources, we have to give a special shout-out to the Waterford Fair and the Waterford Craft School. As one of the first craft shows in the country, the Fair has been preserving these heritage skills right here in Loudoun for over 80 years.
