Proudly hosting events, supporting local makers, and teaming up with fellow small businesses. Our studio is fueled by imagination, and the occasional squirrel that thinks it’s part of the team. We believe in handmade everything, happy accidents, and the magic that happens when you mix creativity with a little bit of sawdust.

🚨 TODAY’S STAFFING UPDATE: WE’RE DOWN 50%. 🚨

Vanessa isn’t feeling well today, so she’s home resting, and that leaves me in charge of The Treehouse Studio.

Yes. Me. Alone. In a retail environment. With nobody here to tell me what I’m doing wrong. 🤣

The doors are open, the lights are on, and I’ve managed to get this far without calling an emergency staff meeting with myself.

So come on down, browse our goodies, shop local, and keep me company! I’ll be here 11 AM–6 PM.

I’ll be handling sales, answering questions, and trying to look like I know what I’m doing. Basically, the same job as always, just without the person who usually keeps me out of trouble. 😂

🌳 WE’RE BACK HOME TODAY! 🏡

Last night’s setup outside Rustling Pages Book Café went well, and we want to thank everyone who came out to support us! ❤️

Between the bees trying to claim our building as their own and a little change of plans, we took the show on the road. 🐝😂

But today, we’re back where we belong… right here at The Treehouse Studio! 🌿

HAPPY FRIDAY, EVERYBODY!

We made it to Friday, which means we’ve successfully completed another week of pretending we know what we’re doing.

Around here at the Treehouse Studio, we’re busy creating, planning, organizing, and occasionally staring at something for 20 minutes wondering what the heck we walked into the room for.

We’re celebrating the little victories, supporting local artists, and reminding ourselves that coffee is technically a survival tool.

So get out there, support a small business, buy something handmade, and remember: you can’t buy happiness, but you can buy local art. And that’s pretty darn close.

🍂 OCTOBER IS HERE.

Well, that happened fast.

September apparently lasted about 11 minutes.

Now it’s October and we’re all expected to be emotionally prepared for falling leaves, cold mornings, Halloween, and the annual debate over whether it’s too early to turn the heat on.

It’s not too early.

It’s October.

We’ve suffered enough.

Meanwhile, the weather is just throwing darts at a calendar.

42° in the morning. 68° at lunch. 51° by dinner.

Dress appropriately.

Whatever that means.

Here at Treehouse Studio, we’re embracing it all: fall colors, cozy vibes, handmade goodies, local artists, and whatever else October decides to throw at us.

Because apparently we have entered the part of the year where time moves at approximately 900 miles per hour.

And before we know it, somebody will be standing in the store asking:

“Do you have Christmas stuff yet?”

SIR, IT IS OCTOBER 1ST. PLEASE CALM DOWN.

Tomorrow is October.

Which means apparently we’re all required to immediately become obsessed with pumpkins.

Pumpkin coffee.
Pumpkin candles.
Pumpkin decorations.
Pumpkin-scented soap.

At some point, somebody is going to invent pumpkin-flavored motor oil and we’re all going to pretend it smells “cozy.”

And here at Treehouse Studio, we’re not judging.

We’re participating.

Because nothing says, “I have my life together” quite like spending $14 on a decorative pumpkin while your actual laundry has been sitting in the dryer since Tuesday.

So bring on October.

Bring on the fall colors.
Bring on the cooler weather.
Bring on the ridiculous decorations.
Bring on the seasonal drinks that cost more than lunch.

Just remember…

The pumpkin didn’t ask for this.

⛽ Gas prices are up again.

I stopped for gas this morning.

Put in $20.

The truck unlocked one door.

So apparently we’re buying gasoline by the teaspoon now.

At this point I don’t say “fill it up.”

I say, “Just give me enough to get to work and make peace with my decisions.”

Anyway, The Treehouse Studio is open today 11–6.

We’ve got handmade jewelry, original art, wood-burned creations, leather goods and custom work.

If you’re already out, stop in.

If you’re not already out, wait until you need groceries, prescriptions, dog food, lumber, an oil change and possibly emergency surgery.

We need customers.

But we’re not asking anybody to waste a gallon.

We’re small-business owners, not monsters.

Pennsylvania has apparently decided seasons are more of a suggestion.

This morning: Fall. 🍂
Around lunch: Summer. ☀️
Later: possibly Spring. 🌷
Tonight: Winter would like a word. ❄️

At this point, don’t check the weather before leaving the house. Just pack for everything.

Shorts. Hoodie. Winter coat. Flip-flops. Snow shovel.

Maybe sunscreen.

We don’t know.

Meanwhile, inside The Treehouse Studio, the forecast is much more predictable:

Fall is here. 🍂

Which means Waterford has entered that magical three-week period where it’s 48° in the morning, 76° by afternoon, and nobody has any idea what jacket to wear.

Meanwhile, The Treehouse is fully embracing it.

☕ And absolutely no pumpkin spice leather belts. We have standards.

Apparently Waterford looked around and said, “You know what this park needs? A bunch of pallets turned into art and a guy in a cowboy hat auctioning them off.”

And somehow…it worked. 😂

The Pallet Auction brought out a fantastic crowd today, with artwork scattered throughout the park and plenty of people showing up to support local artists and the community.

There were paintings.
There were pallets.
There was bidding.
There was a cowboy hat.

Frankly, once you have those four things, you’ve pretty much peaked as a small-town event.

This is exactly the kind of stuff we love about Waterford, and exactly the kind of thing Inside the Treehouse wants to capture. Interesting people making things, neighbors showing up, and a community finding increasingly creative reasons to gather in a park.

Huge credit to everyone who organized it, donated artwork, volunteered, bid, bought something, or just came out to see what the heck was going on.

Nice job, Waterford. You clean up pretty well. 🌳

We’re open today 11–6. 🌲

And a little reminder: we make custom stuff.

Apparently we decided selling things already made wasn’t enough work.

Need a custom leather belt? We can do that.

Want a wood-burned sign with your name, business, favorite saying, or something mildly inappropriate? Also doable.

Looking for custom jewelry? Vanessa can make something that doesn’t look like it came from the same factory as 14 million other earrings.
