“Listen, I am music, OK? Anything you see beyond that is just an addition to that. Everything to me is music. My pulse rate, the sound of the engine in my car … if the water is boiling, if the wind is blowing, everything to me is rhythm and pitch,” he recently said. “Absolutely everything; everything I do, I equate with music.” — Vasti Jackson in Blues Blast Magazine

The Mississippi Musicians Hall of Famer lives and breathes music, and as a proud cultural ambassador for his state, when he hits the stage, he ✨immediately✨ channels his rich blues knowledge through the mic.

Are you feeling the rhythm callin’ you to the dance floor? The pulse of sacred Mississippi sounds beckonin’ you nearer?

Well then gon’ & hightail it to Foxfire Ranch, tomorrow, Sunday 10/11 at 5PM! Tickets $20 per person; more details on our site.

Don’t let the straightforward, down-to-earth aesthetic of Jontavious Willis’ music lead you to think that there is little complexity or depth to his art. Indeed, Willis exemplifies making something that isn’t really easy at all seem like a stroll down a country road in his native Georgia hill ...

Roots. Rock. Rebellion. 🎸 That’s what Alvin Youngblood Hart is all about.

So when the summer of 2008 rolled around and he was invited to perform with Thin Lizzy (as a lifelong fan!) by THE Irish guitar great Gary Moore— you better believe he took it!

He lets his talent speak for him, and his praises be sung by everyone from Bob Dylan to Mick Taylor.

You know what that means? Your weekend plans just got upgraded with what is SURE to be THE show of the summer as he riffs and lifts the spirits with his Grade-A rock-n-roll rowdiness.

Sunday, 9/13 at 5 PM. Be there or be 🟨.

It’s pretty wild to think the cosmic love child of Howlin' Wolf and Link Wray was only introduced to the Robert Johnson at 13 by his big brother. The way this man plays?! You’d assume he was one of the first sounds to hit his ears upon birth.

All the same, what began as a journey to Mississippi evolved into playin’ gigs in the Bay Area while in the Coast Guard, and now into being a genre-defyin’ “musician’s musician” who’s racked up awards and tutored Samuel L. Jackson on the guitar.

From smoked-honey singin’ and songwritin’ to grizzly guitar and harmonica playin’— there ain’t a thing Alvin Youngblood Hart and his Muscle Theory can’t do.

Luckily for us, this Sunday, September 13, at 5 PM, he’s performin’ live and in person at the Ranch with all his roots, rock, and rebellion.

🎟✨Tickets are just $20 per person, $15 for students with valid ID, and free for kids under 13.
