The Road to Xperience

On a warm summer day, about four months ago, Art Fredette and Liam Sweeny were driving the Radioradiox truck down 787, playing the music version of “Betcha’ didn’t know,” and, of course, not able to drive fifty-five, when they collided with a newsprint truck, whose driver and passenger were engaged in a heated debate about the broadsheet size versus the tabloid size. They also couldn’t drive fifty-five. In a surreal cataclysm, these two speeding vehicles met each other in a furious burst of synergy, and while no one was actually injured, at the side of the road lay a brand new baby; Xperience Monthly.

Yeah, okay, so really it was more, “hey, let’s do this,” and less interstate miracle. But that makes Xperience Monthly no less cool. Xperience Monthly is the friend you take to the show because they always know the band, and if they pass out and you draw on their face with a marker, they’re sure to photobomb a few of the party pics when they wake up, with a smile on their face. Plus the smile you drew.

We love interviews; it makes up a lot of what we do. Whether you’ve been holding court at the Capital Region stage for decades, or you found a hot new groove in yourself and you’re just starting out, or if you’ve moved on to greater things, but still got some of that Hudson River water in your veins (gross, but you get the point,) we’ll give you some ink.
