Happy Labor Day, track is closed today and next Monday is the next beginners league day.

Also Thursday and Saturday races are only going to take place if we have some volunteers.
This weekend is Gold cup finals so the majority of our volunteers will be out of town.
So if anyone wants to volunteer please reach out and let us know what you can help with!!

Unfortunately, Mother Nature is not playing nice today — she’s actually being downright mean! 🌧️
With the amount of rain we’ve received overnight and today, the track simply won’t be able to dry out in time for us to race.

We’re bummed, but safety and a good racing surface come first. Hopefully, we’ll see everyone Saturday ready to race! 🏁

After countless hours of working on the track to get it ready for the amazing state finals we had over the weekend, our volunteers deserve a day to rest and recharge! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication.

🏁 Congratulations to all of our Waterford Oaks riders! 🏁
We just want to give a huge shoutout to everyone who showed up this weekend to represent their home track! 💪

The points were close this weekend, which makes the competition even more exciting. All of the Michigan tracks should give themselves a big pat on the back for showing up, competing hard, and proudly representing their home tracks. 🙌

What a weekend!

Thank you to all of the riders and families from across the state who came to Waterford Oaks BMX Race Track for the Michigan State Series Finals!

Mother Nature definitely threw us a few challenges. Between the rain, schedule changes, delays, and a whole lot of uncertainty, we kept adjusting—and in the end, we had a GREAT day of racing and a whole lot of fun! 🚲🏆

A huge thank you to the volunteers from tracks across the state who stepped up and helped make sure riders from all over Michigan were represented around the track. We truly appreciate everyone who jumped in and helped make the day happen.

And an extra-special thank you to our Waterford Oaks BMX volunteer team. 💚 You have put in countless hours both on and off the track preparing for this weekend and making sure we were ready for whatever got thrown our way.

Today, that preparation showed on and off the track.

Hi Riders! Quick Update!

Our volunteers are hard at work removing any standing water from the track and will be blowing it off to get everything ready.

The track WILL be ready to go!

🍔 Due to the time change, Twisted Burger unfortunately had to cancel. But don’t worry—we’ll have Sloppy Joes available in concessions!

Thank you all so much for your patience and flexibility as we work around today’s weather. We appreciate our BMX families and can’t wait to see everyone at the track!
