🎉The Mayor’s Office has been working on and planning our 14th Annual Artisans Marketplace, to be held on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The Artisans Marketplace will take place at City Hall (235 Grand Street, Waterbury, CT) and receive hundreds of fairgoers each year.

From 12:00pm – 6:00pm, families and friends are invited to enjoy an afternoon filled with music, lawn games, arts & crafts, food, informational tables, and more as we celebrate 250 years of American history, community, and pride.

🇺🇸 Join us as the Mattatuck Museum officially kicks off Waterbury’s America 250 celebration with About Face: 250 Years of American Portraits- an exciting exhibition exploring identity, citizenship, belonging, and social change through 250 years of American portraiture.

Opening in celebration of the United States’ semiquincentennial, the Mattatuck Museum brings together paintings, sculpture, drawings, and photography from the Museum’s collection and partner institutions to examine how Americans have represented themselves across generations.

📍 Mattatuck Museum

Enjoy complimentary gallery access, rooftop festivities, performances, community speakers, and interactive exhibition experiences including a participatory portrait selfie station and talk-back wall.

The evening will feature remarks from Mayor Paul K. Pernerewski, Jr., performance by the Mattatuck Drum Band, and a special reading of the Declaration of Independence presented by Waterbury Public School students.

This event is free and open to the public. RSVP is encouraged.
