Footworkz is a dance company created by CEO and Creative Director Mindy C. Footworkz started in Foster city CA back in 2003 and then moved to DFW on 2005 when Mindy and her family relocated to Keller, TX. Miss Jazmin is now the current owner and has been teaching with Footworkz for 5 years. Footworkz offers dance classes in Ballet, Tap, Hip-Hop, Jazz. Classes are currently offered at the Watauga C

ommunity Center. They offer classes for 3 year olds through 18 year olds. Footworkz gladly accepts students with disabilities in all classes; the only prerequisite is a desire to dance. Footworkz is always looking to add new classes, new locations, and new resources for our dancers. Footworkz classes are very affordably priced and designed for everyone in the community who has the desire to dance. To have access to professionally taught classes, by professional teachers without typical studio prices or competitions. Footworkz students perform but don’t compete. Along with Footworkz is 2nd Chance Dance©, resale dancewear from tap shoes to tutus to leotards & tights. Mindy sells 2nd hand dancewear to her students and other dancers in the community. 2nd Chance Dance does buy/sell and trade, anything she can do to keep her dancers dancing – including finding them affordable 2nd hand tap shoes. The Footworkz philosophy simply put – Unleash the dancer inside us all, and make it accessible for everyone.

We offer dance classes starting at 2 years old.

*Beginner dance acrobatics
*Latin rhythms - Individual dance
*Fitness classes for adults - Mornings and afternoons

We incorporate ballet technique, acro dance, and HIIT exercises in all classes to develop strength and good technique in our dancers.

We are located inside the Watauga Rec Center!

Movers Unlimited Touring Dance Company will be hosting a car wash fundraiser on Saturday, September 25th from 8am-2pm @ Boston Restaurant, Fort Worth. Skip the car pool and let Movers get your car squeaky clean! Donations are welcome and graciously accepted. All proceeds will be donated to fellow company member Carolina Escamilla’s family and provide medical expense relief to her father who suffered a hemorrhagic stroke last month. We appreciate anything you can contribute.

Hello Dancers and families,

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this to you all. On Friday the Watagua Rec center let us know they will no longer be allowing classes to be held at their location. Due to Covid and low enrollment numbers, Footworkz will be canceling our Fall 2021 (Sept - December) session. I will be sending refunds starting today through this week. I am searching now for a new location for Footworkz to call home and I hope everyone stays healthy and keeps dancing during our time apart. I am planning to hopefully be back in a new location so we can dance together again in January. Thank you to everyone who has supported dance and Footworkz.
