Footworkz is a dance company created by CEO and Creative Director Mindy C. Footworkz started in Foster city CA back in 2003 and then moved to DFW on 2005 when Mindy and her family relocated to Keller, TX. Miss Jazmin is now the current owner and has been teaching with Footworkz for 5 years. Footworkz offers dance classes in Ballet, Tap, Hip-Hop, Jazz. Classes are currently offered at the Watauga C
ommunity Center. They offer classes for 3 year olds through 18 year olds. Footworkz gladly accepts students with disabilities in all classes; the only prerequisite is a desire to dance. Footworkz is always looking to add new classes, new locations, and new resources for our dancers. Footworkz classes are very affordably priced and designed for everyone in the community who has the desire to dance. To have access to professionally taught classes, by professional teachers without typical studio prices or competitions. Footworkz students perform but don’t compete. Along with Footworkz is 2nd Chance Dance©, resale dancewear from tap shoes to tutus to leotards & tights. Mindy sells 2nd hand dancewear to her students and other dancers in the community. 2nd Chance Dance does buy/sell and trade, anything she can do to keep her dancers dancing – including finding them affordable 2nd hand tap shoes. The Footworkz philosophy simply put – Unleash the dancer inside us all, and make it accessible for everyone.
