If you took Clint Howard 's workshop this summer, you'll be interested in these two opportunities, one coming this Saturday:

Saturday is an online Paint Together of a scene from the Eagle River Nature Center. (Clint just identifies it as an Alaskan mountain stream scene, but I was on the same boardwalk when he took the reference picture. Alaskan's will recognize the location!)

The other is another live workshop you'd have to travel to, but if you have friends or relatives in the direction of Missouri, well...what better time to combine family trips with art!

Starting in 2027, IAPS in-person events take a new shape: Gatherings, a new model for bringing pastel artists together in person, hosted with member societies around the world. The first is Enchanted Places, hosted by the Pastel Society of New Mexico in Albuquerque, October 2027. More details are available at the link below.

One of our PSAK Members, Isabella Apfelbeck, is teaching this Saturday, Aug. 15, how to create an Australian Accordion Sketchbook. She has room for some more students!

Details:

Cost: $25,
Supplies are provided but you do need to bring a couple of items, including some of your own art printed on cardstock. List sent to you when you contact Isabella or PSAK.

Location: Chessed classroom, 3060 N Lazy Eight Ct, Wasilla, AK
