Our raku firing has been rescheduled due to the weather! There are a few spots open, so reach out to Heather ASAP if you want in!!

The lovely Maureen Davis has offered to do a raku workshop for us on August 22nd at her house in Washington! We can only have 10 potters actually physically participate (with one or two pieces each) so the sign up will be first come, first served to guild members (you must have paid your guild dues, or go ahead and pay them now haha). I would like to purchase glazes for Maureen to use for this from guild funds if everyone is okay with that! Other than that, the workshop will be free!

More people can come to watch, but we need to avoid having too many cars so please carpool as much as possible and let me know if you are coming so we can accommodate!

The workshop will start at 10 and should take 4-5 hours so plan to bring a lunch!

There are 5 people signed up so far as I had sent this in an email to the guild previously, so there are 5 spots left!
Please let me know if you would like to sign up and I will let y'all know when it is full!

Hey friends!

The Turnage/Arts Council is not sure they are going to be open for the rest of the week/comfortable having staff or volunteers in to run the bar for us on Friday night. We are now postponing drop off to Friday the 6th from 4-6pm and the reception to the following Friday the 20th from 5:30-7pm!

Please also note, if you have time to help me, we will need to set up for Potteryfest after the reception is over (for anyone willing or able!) my plan is to have the wheels and the clay there already by the time the reception starts and then we will just move it all into the gallery when the reception ends and set up so we don't have to go in super early on Saturday morning.

Please let me know if you are able to help move things from Mud in Motion on Friday the 20th and/or if you are able to help us move things into the gallery after the reception that night!
