The Large-Group Speech season is wrapping up for most of our categories. We're extremely grateful to everyone who came to support us. Two of our groups got all ones at State, including the Oz-Squad featuring Isobel Murphy, Maya Bruty, Iris Dahl, Callie Schiebel, and Angeline Anderson. Luna Morris and Quintyn Garibay also got all ones at state, performing an original script written by them. These two groups might be up for an All-State nomination – fingers crossed! Thanks again for the love, and we hope you follow along during the individual speech season.

Today the WHS large group speech team had amazing first performances of the season. We had the district’s competition in Wapello and many of our groups will be moving on to state on February 7th in Clear Creek Iowa. Exciting news - for the first time in three years our TV news broadcast is heading to state. Don’t miss the speech team showcase on Tuesday at the high school. Thanks to everyone who came out today and supported us, we couldn’t do it without you.
