🌟We are fortunate to live in a thriving and supportive community, where our Chamber and Fair continue to grow! 🌟 To best support that growth and success, the roles of Chamber President and Fair Manager, both currently held by Jennifer Giesike, will be divided into separate positions. Giesike will continue as the Chamber President and a search has begun for a Fair Manager.
“I’ve been passionate about the Fair my entire life,” Giesike stated, “and have truly loved serving as the Fair Manager for 26 years. Being part of the Fair’s growth has brought me so much joy, and I look forward to seeing the excitement and new ideas that the next Fair Manager will be able to bring.”
Chamber Board Chairman, Kevin Richardson added, “As both the Chamber and the Fair have grown, it has become increasingly difficult to dedicate the time needed to each position. By focusing on her role as Chamber President, Ms. Giesike will be able to dedicate her time and energy to her Chamber responsibilities and continue to guide the Chamber as it expands and offers more opportunities and support to Chamber members and the City of Washington.”
📌 A detailed Fair Manager job description, along with information on how to apply is available now at washmochamber.org/jobs. Applications will be accepted through Friday, October 23.
