In the newest Issue of Travel Indiana- Small town Arts are front and center! The Historic Indiana Theater Celebrates its 100th Birthday this year! While Veale Creek and the Art of live Theatre are alive and well in Daviess County, as they recently showed up BIG for the 1776 Performance! Also a very nice mention to The Daviess County museum and the Art of Preserving History!!
Bravo to all of our arts and culture in Daviess County! You are treasured!!

The Spirit of 1776 is reaching its pinnacle in a few weeks!! The 23 Men devoted to this play- We just want to say THANK YOU!!! They have been rehearsing since May 1st.. Three nights a week for two months, and at home in their personal time as well. Thank you to all of you who are participating, putting it together, and doing props, sound, lights.. all of the things. Special Thank you to Washington Community Schools for the use of the Auditorium and facilities!!
It is a FREE event- donations to Veale Creek Theatre are always welcome.
The Costumes are authentic time period specific. Join in the Spirit, Take a trip back in time to the Signing of the Declaration of Independence.
