We have a group show up with work by all members in addition to our feature show “Crepuscular“ a collection of drawings by Wayne Paige. Joan Wiberg is showing Casanova Bluebells, and shares this about her painting…

“After participating in a group hike this spring with a naturalist in Casanova, VA, I was inspired to paint the Bluebells that grow on the understory of the forest while the light isn't blocked. There were so many interesting plants and colors that pop up before the trees leaf out, and everything in Virginia is green.”

“Henry and I will get to Bishop, Ca., the western end of Rt6, tomorrow. It’s a magnificent country full of kind and open people. I have taken some photographs of scenery but mostly I find myself doing candid portraits, pictures we have always known as every day life.”

We had a lively and well attended reception last weekend for the opening of Wayne Paige’s show “Crepuscular”. Thank you to those who were able to join us, but if you couldn’t make the reception please come by and see the show! As always, we also have a group show up with work by all members!

Middle Street Gallery is opening a new exhibition titled, "Crepuscular," featuring the otherworldly pen and ink drawings of Wayne Paige on Friday, Aug. 14, with a reception Saturday, Aug. 15, from 4-6 p.m.
