OPEN HOUSE TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY! Be there or be ⬜️ 😂
All jokes aside, we have FREE classes coming up on Tuesday and Wednesday and we’d love it if you made it! Even if you don’t intend on signing up, we plan on having so many events for dancers from any studio in town. Our Workshops are made for the COMMUNITY! So come check us out, say hi, and grab a cookie 🍪

We have the start of a floor! Few more finishing touches and we’ll be able to lay down the marley. Marley is a special kind of vinyl flooring made specifically for dance spaces. It’s the black stuff you’ve seen in some of our other videos! The reason we needed to create this type of flooring is to keep our dancers’ joints safe when they land out of their moves. The slight bounce in the floor helps protect joints from jamming into each other upon landing things like jumps. At The DMW, we will strive for excellence in any way we can! It starts by building a good home for our clients 💕

In a year of “firsts,” being able to capture the moment our first dancers take class in the studio is an incredibly special moment. We still have a LOT of work to do before we are ready, however seeing these students all dressed up for class makes our space finally feel like a studio. No, we’re not crying, it’s just summer allergies!🥹🥹

The Dance and Movement Workshop would not be a studio without these wonderful people! Thank you to Miss Hannah, Miss Maci, and Miss Nicole for all the important work you’ve done this season. I could not have run two showcases, Rochester Posed, Halloween Fest, and the Rec Center Halloween Hooplah without you. Every event was so smooth because of your expertise and commitment. And to my folks, Mr Keith and Miss Paula, you are the reason I have this business in the first place. The confidence you have in me fuels the engine that runs the studio. I love you both! I could not be more proud of my students and I can’t wait to provide more classes and workshops next season! News on that coming soon. Cheers 🥳
