Just an update that we will not be having a show this year. Thank you all for the support over the years! I’ll miss the line of cars out front and hopefully we’ll be back!

I have debated posting or not posting but as pictures get shared it will be obvious to some. On August 28th I went in for a relatively routine Crohn’s disease surgery, as the surgeon got into my abdomen he realized that we weren’t dealing with Crohn’s disease. What he found is advanced signet cell adenocarcinoma. This is a rare and aggressive form of cancer that has an unknown cause. The current theory is it started in my appendix and then spread throughout my abdomen. I will start chemo next week and we will check progress in the weeks following. We are incredibly lucky to have the support we have and we will do everything within our power to try to put this in remission.

We are back up and running! We should be running the rest of the week but I might start clean up early if we don’t have any crowds.

Well the GFCI is not happy tonight. We’re going to dry out and try again tomorrow! I’ll be checking all the connections tomorrow.
